Missing Black Country mum found safe after social media appeal
A missing mother has been found safe after a widely-shared police and social media appeal.
Maxine Pinches, aged 50 and from Wednesfield, was reported missing by her family to West Midlands Police after leaving her home on Tuesday at around 3pm.
Maxine's worried daughter Sammie took to social media to appeal for information – with one Twitter post shared more than 30,000 times.
But this afternoon Sammie, aged 20, announced that her mother had been found safe and been in contact with police. It is not known where Maxine was found.
Sammie told the Express & Star: "I’m so grateful for everyone who has helped me and my family find my mom.
"I’m overwhelmed by how my tweet and my Facebook post reached so many people.
"It’s heart-warming knowing there are some good people out there.
"Thank you so much to everyone who has support me and my family through this."
