Collision stops trams from running in Wolverhampton

Tram services were unable to run between Wolverhampton Station and Priestfield on Monday afternoon due to a road traffic collision in Wolverhampton.

The collision on the Bilston Road meant trams were only operating between Priestfield and Edgbaston.

Tickets and passes were being accepted on National Express's 79 bus between Wolverhampton and Priestfield.

At 1.45pm West Midlands Metro announced that the line had reopened and the usual service had resumed.
