Wolves striker Diogo Jota is expecting first child with girlfriend
Wolves star striker Diogo Jota has announced he is expecting his first child with girlfriend Rute Cardoso.
The Portuguese footballer revealed the happy news on his Instagram page, saying: "After another great season we are delighted to announce we are waiting our first baby."
The 23-year-old, who first started playing for Wolves in 2017, attached a photo of him kissing his girlfriend, with them both holding a pregnancy scan photo.
It comes just days after midfielder Ruben Neves announced he would soon be welcoming baby number three into his family.
The also 23-year-old already has a son and a daughter with wife Debora Laurenco.
Neves wrote on his own Instagram page earlier this week: "Season is over. Proud of everyone. Now enjoy some time with my beautiful family. Baby number three is coming Feb 21."
The message sat alongside a picture of his two children sat on chairs, with a third empty chair showing a sign reading "one more Feb 21".
