Budding sports reporter scores interview with Wolves star Adama Traoré

Jude Aston probed the attacking powerhouse at an event to launch the Wolverhampton Young Citizen of the Year award at Wolves Academy on Compton Park.

The 15-year-old vlogger, who attends the city's Highfields School, quizzed Traoré on his development under Nuno, Wolves battle for success on two fronts, as well as today's clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

In the clip, which was organised by Wolves Foundation and can be seen on the youngster's Jude's Journey YouTube channel, Traoré opens up on his rising profile this season.

He tells Jude: "It's been a process. I've been playing three positions with Nuno, but I think I have been growing a lot. I have been working hard with him.

"He has been helping me a lot, and I'm the type of person I like to learn everyday and grow everyday. I'm happy to be here and I have to keep working, to keep pushing and keep learning everyday."

Pressed on how Wolves had come to terms with juggling Premier League and Europa League commitments, Traoré said: "I think in the start of the season we had, like six draws, and I think a lot of Wolves fans were a little bit nervous.

"But I think at the time, we said that if the work is there, and the effort is there and the mentality is there, then the results will come. This is what has happened now.

"I don't like to put excuses because now we are playing in [two] leagues. Every player wants to play in Europe, every player wants to play in the Premier League, so we have to adapt, we have to keep working and fighting to the end."

Reflecting on Wolves last league game, which saw them edged out 2-1 by Liverpool at Molineux, Traoré said: "We like to win each game, whatever team is in front of us.

"It wasn't possible against Liverpool... great team, one of the best in Europe, we learn about it and we keep growing. We had a good game but we didn't win."

Asked if he was confident Wolves could get a good result at Old Trafford, Traoré said Wolves would approach the game in the same way they did against all opponents.

"We will fight to the end," he said.

Villa fan Jude, who has cerebral palsy, said he was thrilled to have added Traoré to his list of big name interviewees, which also includes Jack Grealish, Bully, Brian Little, Matt Murray, Don Goodman, Alex Rae, Sam Johnstone and Steve Bruce.

Last year he was nominated for a national football blogging award, and was also a finalist in the Wolverhampton Young Citizen of the Year, which recognises young people's efforts to help those in their community.

Entries for this year's award, which is run by Wolverhampton's Rotary clubs, are due to open on March 1. More details will follow closer to the date.
