Search spreads across the Black Country to find girl missing for nine days
Police are continuing to search for a 14-year-old girl from the West Midlands who has been missing for more than a week.
Katrina Tomkins vanished from her home in Wolverhampton on July 8 and police believe she could be in the city, Dudley, Sandwell or Walsall.
The appeal for information was renewed again yesterday as detectives try to get the message out to as many people as possible.
Officers have said she left her house in the early hours of July 8 and failed to return.
West Midlands Police have released a photo of Katrina and urge anyone with information to call 101.
The picture has been shared more than 2,600 times on social media.
The fresh image of the schoolgirl was released by police at the end of last week as they stepped up their efforts to find her.
Officers hope people spreading the word on social media will help to provide information in the bid to trace her.
The appeal has been spread far and wide on Facebook, with hundreds of people sending messages of support to the Wolverhampton Police account.
