Man's death 'not suspicious' as tributes left for Wolverhampton Ring Road victim
The death of a man found with head injuries in a bus lane on Wolverhampton Ring Road is not being treated as suspicious, police say.
Flowers have been left for the man, who has not yet been named, at the scene as tributes came in via social media.
The 22-year-old man was found with head injuries by the ambulance service at 3.30am on Sunday.
He was found lying motionless on the ground in the bus lane near Broad Street, and was taken to hospital where he later died.
The man’s family are currently being supported by specialist officers.
Police say it is understood the man may have fallen from a bridge.
A spokesman from West Midlands Police today confirmed his death was not being treated as suspicious.
In tributes left online, one Express & Star reader wrote: "Extremely tragic. Very, very sad. Taken so young. My sincere condolences to family and friends."
