Appeal as young mother-to-be disappears from hospital

Police are urgently trying to track the heavily pregnant 21-year-old down.

A vulnerable heavily-pregnant woman has disappeared from hospital, prompting a police appeal to track her down.

Stacey Brown, aged 21, has not been seen since leaving New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton yesterday afternoon.

West Midlands Police are urgently trying to find Stacey, who is believed to be eight months pregnant and is described as 'vulnerable'.

The mother-to-be is described as being 5ft 8ins tall and has light-brown hair which she sometimes wears in a bun.

Stacey was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

She was heading towards Bentley Bridge retail park when she left New Cross at around 2.30pm on Thursday, and officers say she is known to frequent the Willenhall and Bentley Bridge areas of the city.
