The visit was due to record amount of tickets being sold by the school for Walsall FC's School Partners initiative - an initiative by the Walsall FC Foundation which offers local schools tickets at one-off reduced prices to encourage the next generation of fans.
1,982 tickets were sold through the initiative across a mixture of schools in the region, but topping the charts was St. Michael's C of E Primary School, in Pelsall, who knocked out 138 of them to this weekend's game against AFC Wimbledon.
As reward to the school and children, Walsall FC's first-team players Brandon Comley and Taylor Allen spent time in each class meeting the children, signing stuff and taking questions.
