List of National Express West Midlands bus services to be scrapped from June 1

National Express West Midlands has announced it will be scrapping eight services across the region from the start of next month - with Wolverhampton and Walsall services affected.

Passengers have been warned to check their routes as the transport company will be scrapping services, altering routes and changing timetables. 

Some of the scrapped services will be replaced with one of their three new services - however, others won't be served at all.

The following routes will be withdrawn: 

A National Express West Midlands bus
  • 15A Wolverhampton - Merry Hill: Partly replaced by service 15 and new service 16A 

  • 20 Q.E. Hospital - Bromsgrove: Replaced with new X20 service between Birmingham and Bromsgrove

  • 20A QE Hospital - Cofton Hackett: Replaced with new X20 service between Birmingham and Bromsgrove. Cofton Hackett will no longer be served

  • 48A West Bromwich - Bearwood: Replaced with a more frequent 48 service and Diamond 54 service will replace part of the route in Bristnall Fields

  • 934 Birmingham - Walsall: Replaced with service 936

  • 935 Birmingham - Walsall: Replaced by service 998 in Streetly, 937 will cover Rough Road and George Frederick Road, services 77 & 77A will provide an alternative between Walsall and Streetly, and service 936 will provide an alternative between Walsall and Barr Beacon via Sutton Road

  • 937A Birmingham - Brownhills: Replaced by service 937

  • 997S Fortis Academy - Birmingham: Replaced by service 997
