Walsall boss and loan striker nominated for EFL awards
Walsall boss Mat Sadler has been nominated for the League Two manager of the season award.

The 40-year-old is on a four-man shortlist for the prize, with the Saddlers still in the race for automatic promotion despite a run of two wins in 17 matches.
Walsall looked odds-on to go up when they were top of the table and 15 points clear of fourth place in January.
But they have struggled since the on-loan striker Nathan Lowe was recalled by parent club Stoke City. The 19-year-old, who scored 15 goals in 22 appearances for the Saddlers, is one of four players nominated for the League Two player of the season award, despite only being in the division for half a season.
Sadler is up against Bradford City boss Graham Alexander, Port Vale’s Darren Moore and Bromley’s Andy Woodman for the manager prize.
Doncaster winger Luke Molyneux and Bromley striker are the other two players nominated.
Blues boss Chris Davies is, unsurprisingly, on the shortlist for League One manager of the season after leading the club to the title.
The winners will be announced at the EFL’s annual ceremony in London on Sunday, April 27. It will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football.
