All lanes open again on southbound M6 after crash

A crash on the M6 forced lane closures on the busy motorway and caused long delays for southbound traffic.

Traffic on the M6 was stopped before 7am today after the collision near Junction 10 for Walsall, a National Highways West Midlands Statement said.

Four lanes were closed while traffic officers managed the aftermath of the crash, then two were opened and traffic was released.

It is understood the West Midlands Ambulance Service did not attend the crash.

All lanes had opened again by 10am.
