Five-year-old Tommy, from Walsall, will visit Rushall Olympic FCs ground at Daw End on Saturday for their game against Stalybridge Celtic.

The club asked for him to visit after hearing of his battle with meningitis and will be taking collections throughout the game from all corners of the ground in order to help raise money for a new set of prosthetic legs.

When he was just five months old, Tommy had to have his legs, arm and fingers amputated after contracting meningitis.

His family are now trying to raise £20,000 in order to purchase the prosthetic legs.

Chris Hession, the clubs commercial manager, said: "We want as many people to get down on Saturday to help Tommy and enjoy a good game of football.

"Anything we can do to help would be great for us."

Kick off on Saturday is at 3pm.
