Jump In Trampoline Arena in Walsall swung open its doors at Bentley Mill Way on Wednesday.

The site has been open for a year as a trampoline park known as Jump Nation. But after Jump Nation was bought out by Jump In the centre underwent an extensive refurbishment.

The refurbishment started on April 26 and finished on Tuesday.

Among some of the changes people will see is a new party floor, new big beam and a special area for toddlers.

Sammy Burgess, aged 23, one of the managers at the site, said she was ‘absolutely delighted’ the site had reopened with the improvements made.

She said: “Obviously we ran it for a year before Jump In took over Jump Nation.

“Now we have got new exciting features and the centre is much more customer-friendly.

“For example we now have an area where parents can watch their children jumping, something that was not possible before.

“Other new features we have included are a new party floor, where previously we just had party rooms, a brand new big foam tip, two extra long tumble tracks for people to show off their skills on and a brand new toddler area.

“The toddler area is for children under five so they do not get mixed up with the older children.

“There are special toys in there and a foam pit.” Of Wednesday’s official launch, Sammy added: “We had a lot of walk-ins, it was a good turnout.” Jump In, which describes itself as the UK’s fastest growing trampoline arena operator, took over the Jump Nation site in March. The acquisition came just two months after it launched its latest site in Enfield, London.

Bosses hope the 25,000 square foot Walsall site is the most accessible in the Black Country and will help serve the local community and beyond.

Jump In’s chairman, Vernon West, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to serve the people of Walsall and Birmingham. The upgraded trampoline arena offers new features, lighting, and innovations to excite our fun-loving customers.” Walsall is Jump In’s second arena in the West Midlands, alongside Warwick.

The firm also has arenas in Tonbridge and Slough.
