Encouraged by the sunny weather, motorcycle aficionados travelled the length and breadth of the country for the International Classic Motorcycle Show at the weekend.
The event at Staffordshire County Showground in Stafford included the world's largest ever display of Brough Superior SS100 motorcycles, including one owned by Col T E Lawrence, better known as Lawrence of Arabia.

A total of 24 of the ultra rare bikes, described as the 'Rolls-Royce of motorcycles' were on display at the event, also including a 1927 'works scrapper' which was declared the fastest bike in the world.
One of the highlights was a 100-year-old Brough Superior, which took second place in the 1927 Ulster Grand Prix, that fetched £276,000 in an auction on Sunday afternoon.
A 1937 Vincent-HRD Rapide Series-A, which won the Brooklands Gold Star while ridden by Jim Kentish, fetched £181,700.

Television motorcycle expert Henry Cole was among the special guests, appearing on the stage throughout the weekend, regaling the crowd with fascinating anecdotes.
The event will also include the sale of rare parts, spares, and memorabilia, as well as displays from motorcycle clubs and private collectors.
