Car seized by police after child spotted without seatbelt in Stafford
Staffordshire Police pulled over a black Peugeot 208 after spotting a child without a seatbelt in the back seat - and events escalated quickly.

Officers ended up seizing the vehicle in Stafford after discovering the driver had been uninsured and disqualified.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Staffs RCT said: "Stopped in @PoliceStafford due to child unrestrained in the rear.
"Driver found to have no insurance and also be disqualified from driving.
"Vehicle #seized @DriveInsured and driver reported for all offences."
But they weren't the only disqualified driver to be caught in Stafford today.
A Fiat 500 driver also had their vehicle seized after trying to avoid a marked police vehicle by joining the M6.
Another tweet from the service said: "Vehicle reacted to our marked car in @PoliceStafford and tried to avoid us by joining the M6!
"No insurance. No keeper. No MOT. Driver also found to be disqualified from driving."
