Closures set to hit A449 Stafford Road south of Penkridge in December and January
Motorists have been warned of traffic misery next month with roadworks being carried out on the A449 Stafford Road at Gailey.

Roadworks being carried out on the A449 Stafford Road at Gailey are set to cause major disruption for West Midlands motorists.
South Staffordshire Council has published a timetable of the dates the road will be affected.
The council said: "There will be advanced vegetation clearance of the highway verge to provide access to our working areas. This work will be taking place in December 2024. To complete our work safely there will be off-peak lane closures between 9am and 3.30pm on both A449 carriageways."
