Man in hospital after crash outside Dudley Arms pub

A man was injured after a crash between a car and a motorbike outside a well-known pub.

The crash happened on the A449 Wolverhampton Road outside The Dudley Arms pub, in Himley, at around 9pm last night.

A black Audi A1 and a motorbike were involved in the crash which saw two crews from Dudley Fire Station attend.

The crash left the windscreen of the Audi badly damaged and the rider of the motorbike left needing treatment for cuts to his head and leg.

Paramedics took the man, in his 50s, to Russells Hall Hospital for further assessment – though his injuries were not thought to have been life threatening.
