Designer items to go under hammer for Cannock's Newlife charity
Hundreds of new fashion pieces bearing top designer labels are set to go under the hammer to help raise funds for Cannock-based charity Newlife.
The sale will take place at Penkridge auction house Cuttlestones’ Designer Goods Auction on Friday, October 2, with proceeds from the sale going directly to supporting Newlife’s mission to change the lives of disabled and terminally ill children across the UK.
The sale will offer label lovers the opportunity to pick up some designer bargains – including clothing, jewellery, shoes, bags, luggage, skiwear, skincare and accessories.
Labels represented in the sale include Gucci, Dior, Versace, PRADA, Stella McCartney, Mulberry, McQueen, Fendi, Victoria Beckham, Diane Von Fustenberg, DKNY, Michael Kors, Chloe, Maxmara and Burberry.
Stand-out lots include a Gucci white ladies’ pants suit which retails at £1,750 and a pair of Nicola Costa trousers that usually carry a price tag of around £1,000.
Managing director and head auctioneer at Cuttlestones, Ben Gamble says: “With guide prices starting from as little as £10, this really does represent a rare chance to snap up a designer bargain – and, with the majority of lots being sold on behalf of Newlife, bidders will be doing their bit for a very worthy cause.
