Stan Collymore to host new show on Russia Today
Former Villa striker Stan Collymore will host a new show on a controversial channel starting next month, he has revealed on social media.
The 46-year-old will host The Stan Collymore Show on Russia Today, which has been described as 'the mouthpiece of the Russian state', from November 3.
Collymore, of Cannock, left radio station talkSPORT last year after the Wireless Group was bought by News Corp – the group that owns The Sun newspaper.
The former Walsall and Wolves youth team player announced his new venture on Twitter.
Collymore, who is originally from Stone, posted on the social network today: "Lots of fun at The Stan Collymore Show @RT_com launch yesterday! Nov 3 series starts around the world!"
