Cannock fall tragedy: 'Devastated' parents pay tribute to Ryan Shenton after death

The family of tragic Ryan Shenton have paid tribute to their 'hardworking, successful' son, who died after a fall at the back of a nightclub.

The 25-year-old, of Green Lane, Leamore in Walsall, is thought to have fallen off the top of the building at the back of the Quartz Bar nightspot at Market Place, Cannock last Saturday morning

The sequence of events leading to Ryan’s death remain unclear at this time and an investigation is on-going.

The family statement released by Staffordshire Police alongside a photograph of Ryan reads: “As parents we are extremely devastated and shocked at the tragic loss of our son, Ryan.

“He was a hardworking, successful electrician, who did everything possible for those he loved.

“No-one should feel the pain we, as his parents, younger sister, partner, family and friends are feeling at this moment.

“We kindly ask for privacy and respect for all our family and most of all, for Ryan, so that we can all grieve through this difficult time.”
