Great Haywood canal death victim named by police
A woman who died after being pulled from a canal near Stafford has been named as Marianne Weaver.
The 63-year-old was living on a narrow boat in the Mill Lane area of Great Haywood.
She was rescued from the water by a resident on Tuesday last week, but passed away in Royal Stoke University Hospital later the same night.
There are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been compiled for HM Coroner.
Staffordshire Police has sent its thoughts to Marianne's family and friends.
