A man has been charged after another man suffered a serious injury to his neck in Cannock.

Robert Grainger, 41, of Oak Crescent in Wolverhampton, has been charged with wounding with intent.
It comes after a man suffered a serious injury to his neck after being attacked on Longford Road on April 29 (Tuesday).
The injured man was taken to hospital and remains in a critical but stable condition.
Grainger first appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Monday (May 5) and has been remanded ahead of his next appearance due at Stafford Crown Court on June 2.
