Staff at Jimmy Trims, which has salons across the Black Country, will come together to back the Wolverhampton-based charity.

A football event will be held on July 12 – the final day of the Euros 2020 competition – which will see five-a-side teams compete in a series of matches.

It will take place at the Aspray Arena on Noose Lane in Willenhall, home of Sporting Khalsa FC, which has allowed the barbershop chain the use of its pitch.

And later this year, staff – including the directors – will take on either the Scafell Pike peak in the Lake District, or the Wolverhampton Half Marathon.

Mimzy Khatkar, one of the directors of the brand, said the chain held two events this year – with last year seeing them raise just under £400.

Jimmy Trims has branches in Pennfields, Tettenhall Wood, Castlecroft, on the Stafford Road and in Willenhall. There are also salons in Brierley Hill, Stourbridge, Oldswinford and Wombourne.
