Staffordshire Police Special Constable killed in crash
Staffordshire's top police chief has paid tribute to a volunteer officer who was killed in a car crash.
Terry Neild, who served as a Special Constable with Staffordshire Police for five years, died in a crash in Macclesfield, Cheshire, last week.
The force's Chief Constable Gareth Morgan paid tribute to Mr Neild, who he said would be 'greatly missed'.
He said: "Our thoughts and condolences are with the family of Special Constable Terry Neild, who tragically died following a road traffic collision in Macclesfield on Thursday, October 25.
"Terry was a Special Constable for five years and will be greatly missed by all at Staffordshire Police."
