Surf's up in Bridgnorth as rare 1970s board goes on sale at antiques centre

A surfboard made in Cornwall in the 1970s has gone up for sale in landlocked Shropshire, still in usable condition half a century after it was created.

The rare surfboard, made by Tris of Porthtowan in Cornwall, has gone on sale at the Old Mill Antiques Centre in Low Town, Bridgnorth.

Owned and previously used by Old Mill staff member Steve Riley, it was put on display at the centre by Dylan Haynes, aged 17, who is on work experience at the centre from Telford College.
