'Great result for the team' - One person in custody after police swoop and find large amount of drugs in Wednesbury

A person has been taken into custody after police found a large amount of Class A drugs in a town centre property.

Posting on its X account, formerly Twitter, police said it conducted a S23 MDA search warrant on an address in Wednesbury town centre after acting on several intelligence reports. 

During the search, a large amount of class A drugs were found and one person is now in custody. 

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police, said: "Wednesbury Team 1 have conducted a S23 MDA Search Warrant on an address in Wednesbury Town Centre after acting on several intelligence reports. 

"A large amount of class A drugs found, one person in custody.
