Firefighters from West Midlands Fire Service have told how they extinguished flames from approximately 200m along land running alongside the waterway adjacent to Carisbrooke Road in Wednesbury.
Today has been one of the hottest days this summer with temperatures reaching 27 degrees celsius and set to climb to 29 degrees tomorrow, according to the Met Office.
From West Bromwich, Willenhall and Tipton attended the incident from around 2pm today (Sunday, August 11).
