Carl Kevin Price, of Dorsett Road, Wednesbury, has been handed a disqualification order after admitting two counts of animal welfare offences. He was also given a 12-month community order following the investigation and prosecution by the RSPCA.

It involved 11 spaniel breed dogs including six puppies and five adults.

Inspectors for the RSPCA described the conditions at his home, which involved the dogs being "covered in urine and faeces" with "no bedding" and a dead puppy was discovered in one of the crates.
