Three sent to hospital after crash between car and bus in Wednesbury
Three people have been taken to hospital following a crash involving a car and a bus in Wednesbury.
The incident took place at the junction of Windmill Street and Wood Green Road at around 6.24am.
The A461 was closed for a number of hours as a result of the collision, with motorists driving in the morning rush hour having faced delays.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a bus at the junction of Windmill Street and Wood Green Road at 6.24am, one ambulance attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered three patients, two from the bus and one from the car, all of whom were men. They were all treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Walsall Manor Hospital."
National Express West Midlands has said that the incident has now cleared, with service 11 now running a normal service.
