Driver flees scene of Wednesbury crash
Police are hunting a driver who fled the scene of a serious crash in the Black Country.
A car was left with major front-end damage after mounting the kerb in Wednesbury.
Officers arrived at the scene to find the driver had 'legged it'. However, a mobile phone and hat had been left behind, giving them hope they might be able to the driver.
West Midlands Police Force Response said on Twitter: "Called to Wednesbury to this RTC. Driver has legged it but forgot his hat, phone and Chinese takeaway. Off to forensics."
