Man arrested after West Bromwich drugs raid
A man was arrested following a drugs raid in the Black Country.
Officers found heroin during the raid at a house in Allerton Road, West Bromwich.
Police used a battering ram to force open the front door yesterday. They said a man and a woman were inside the property. The man was arrested and taken into custody.
Images posted on Twitter showed a man being led away by officers towards a police van.
West Bromwich WMP said on Twitter: "We forced entry and a male and female were inside. A quantity of Class A (heroin) was found. The male was taken to the cells and will be charged."
