More than 50 firefighters sent to tackle recycling centre blaze in Tipton
More than 50 firefighters have been battling a fire at a recycling centre in Tipton.

Posting on its official X account, formerly Twitter, West Midlands Fire Service said six crews were in attendance at a fire on Bloomfield Road, Tipton, this morning (January 5).
The fire involves AB Waste Management's site in Tipton and locals have been advised to avoid the area if possible.
It was later confirmed that a further four teams were sent and between 50 and 60 firefighters have been battling the blaze. Traffic in the area has been delayed as a result of the fire.
Thankfully no casualties have been reported.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said: "We have six crews in attendance at a fire on Bloomfield Road, Tipton involving a recycling site.
"Please avoid the area, where possible.
"The recycling plant went alight, there are two main jets in use and water relays are being established. There are no casualties onsite."
A further update at 12.21pm said: "This incident is generating a lot of smoke and a lot of our crews are working at this incident - please avoid the area while our crews work, as there are already traffic delays in the area."
It comes the day after a major blaze at a waste recycling plant in Aldridge.
