Crash in Tipton closes road
A car hit railings forcing the closure of a road in an early morning Tipton crash.
The silver Vauxhall Astra estate vehicle hit the metal railings in Alexandra Road on Sunday morning at 7.50am.
It was outside The Ace Academy.
Police, ambulance and fire crews attended the scene.
While officers closed the road off, paramedics saw to the occupants, while fire crews helped make the area safe.
A spokesman from Tipton Fire Station tweeted: "Road traffic collision this morning attended by @tiptonfire, no serious injuries. Please drive safely, and belt up."
Emergency services left the scene by 8.40am.
