Armed police called after man suffers gun shot wound in Great Barr
A man was shot in Great Barr prompting armed police to arrive to help make an arrest.
Paramedics were called to treat the victim who suffered a gun shot wound to his arm.
An armed response team joined officers in Aldridge Road at around 9am today following the shooting.
They attended a house following reports a man had been injured.
A 39-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to the minor arm injury.
A pellet gun was recovered from the address and a 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding.
