'A massive difference': A Black Country village is undergoing a series of improvement works - here's what's happening
A Black Country village will get a series of improvement works aimed at making it more accessible and welcoming.

Councillor Damien Corfield, Dudley Council's cabinet member for highways and the environment, said the 'long overdue' improvements to Sedgley would make a 'massive difference' to the area
A number of ageing steel railings will be either replaced with new blue ones, or where possible, with less obtrusive bollards, which would be painted in the village's colour of blue.
The village's floral displays will also be improved.
"These improvements are long overdue and I’m really pleased that work is already underway," he said.
"We’re removing a lot of the older railings, replacing some with new railings and others with bollards which will open up the space and make it feel more welcoming and accessible.
"We’ll be painting this new street furniture blue to match the Sedgley emblem and will be cleaning and repairing the pavements.
Faded road markings and worn road signs would be replaced.
"We’ve always had a lot of planters, which we’ll be stocking with perennial plants with the help of community volunteers who have been invaluable supporting community planting," said Councillor Corfield.
"This suite of improvements will make a massive difference to Sedgley," he said.
"Our aim is to strengthen the pride local Sedgley residents have and encourage visitors to shop locally and build on our community spirit"
