Teenage boy knocked off his bike by car near Halesowen school
A teenage boy was taken to hospital after being knocked off his bike near a school in Halesowen today.
Emergency services were called to Kent Road, near Leasowes High School, just after 9am.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a cyclist on Kent Road, near to Leasowes High School, at 9.06am.
"One ambulance attended the scene. Crews treated one male patient, the cyclist, who was a teenager, for injuries not believed to be serious, before he was taken to Russell’s Hall Hospital for further assessment."
West Midlands Police has been contacted for comment.
