Man falls between platform and train at Coseley Railway Station
A man fell between a platform and a train after being taken ill at Coseley Railway Station.
Specialist ambulance service crews were among those sent to the station to help the man.
Trains were halted while the emergency services reached the man and started treatment on a head injury.
The man was taken ill at around 5.30pm on Monday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service took to Twitter to say during the treatment: "Ambulance staff are treating a man who's been injured after falling between the platform and a train at Coseley Station after what was described as a medical incident."
The line was blocked for up to two hours while the man was assessed and moved.
He was taken by ambulance to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment.
