Road closed for five days near Merry Hill due to gas leak - buses diverted

Wallows Road in Brierley Hill, is currently closed due to emergency gas leak works following a fault in line.
The road is closed until Christmas Even (Tuesday, December 24).
National Express West Midlands has warned of route changes due to the road closure, with the Service 2A, for Merry Hill, being forced to follow an alternative line of route.
On X, the transport group said: "Wallows Road is currently closed due to emergency gas leak repair works.
"Service 2A to Merry Hill from Pensnett Road: continue straight onto Bank Street, right High Street, to the normal line of route.
"To Wrens Nest: Reverse of above."
The route is expected to be closed from December 19 until December 24.
