It has come as The Campaign for Real Ale marks the anniversary of the demolition of the Crooked House pub at Himley.

CAMRA is urging the Government to improve planning options for local councils.

On August 5 last year fire destroyed much of the interior of the Crooked House pub, and under 48 hours later, the remaining structure of the building was demolished without planning permission.
