Man charged with Ryan Passey murder denies killing
A man charged with the murder of Ryan Passey has denied killing the 24 year old.
Appearing at Birmingham Crown Court yesterday, Kobe Murray, of The Broadway, entered a plea of not guilty to one count of murder in relation to the keen football fans death on August 6.
The 19-year-old has been remanded in custody until January 24, when a trial, which is expected to last for two weeks, will take place.
He appeared via video link at Birmingham Crown Court to enter his plea.
The victim was attacked at Chicago's on the Rye Market in Stourbridge at around 1am on August 6 and died later in hospital.
Ryan had played for Team Dudley and Stourbridge Football Club's youth side.
