Now the 26-year-old is hoping to inspire others to achieve success through his self-published book: Chasing Your Dreams.

The book, which took two years to complete and released back in August, aims to provide a source of motivation for any person, whatever their age, who is wanting to achieve their goals.

“Anyone can pick up the book and use it. Whether they’re looking to go to university, pursue a career or even set up a business,” said Vito.

“The book encourages the reader to focus on their dreams, and to believe in themselves.

“Never give up on what your dreams are, it’s important to know to deal with set backs and how keep moving forward.”

Although having lived in Claverley, near Bridgnorth, for almost 15 years, Vito’s family are of Italian decent. His mother is from the province of Avellino, Italy and his father from Sicily.

Vito added: “My mother’s parents came over from Italy to seek a better life for their children.

“They couldn’t speak the language, and knew nothing about the country. It was a selfless act, to give the next generation a better life.

“I feel very connected to where I come from, it was thanks my family’s courageous actions, and what I have learnt from them, that has provided the best foundation for me to start from.

“It has made me determined, hardworking and inspired to chase success.”

Vito completed his first book while balancing a full-time job in the local the court service. He said: “Looking back on the journey, it’s been very hard work. It takes a bit of time to sink it. It’s been on my mind for two years and now I can hold the book in my hands.

"I’m very grateful for all the support I’ve had- It’s been an enjoyable process."

Chasing Your Dreams is available as a Kindle Edition, and in paperback.
