Concerns for man's welfare as road closed and buses diverted in Birmingham
A road in Birmingham was cordoned off due to concerns for a man's welfare.

West Midlands Police put a cordon in place around Pritchatts Road, Edgbaston - near the University of Birmingham campus - due to concerns about a man on the bridge.
Officers were called to the scene at around 3.35pm. Both lanes were blocked off while they worked to resolve the incident.
Bus services were also rerouted but the incident has since been cleared.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We were called to Pritchatts Road at around 3.35pm today following concerns for the welfare of a man on a bridge.
"A small cordon is in place as we work to resolve the incident."
West Midlands Roads warned drivers to avoid the area. A spokesperson wrote via X (formerly Twitter): "Pritchatts Road, Edgbaston: Police Incident.
"Road blocked in both directions. Plan Ahead: Allow extra time for your journey and consider alternative routes where possible."
National Express West Midlands also confirmed its X21 and X22 routes were being diverted due to the incident.
In a post via X, a spokesperson wrote: "Service Disruption Due to an incident on Pritchatts Road #Edgbaston X21 and X22 will be diverting in both directions via: Farquhar Road and Somerset Road We apologise for any disruption to your journey."
