Salma Zulfiqar BEM, of ARTSconnects, released The Migration Blanket – Climate Solidarity to highlight the devastating impact of climate change on women and girls worldwide.

It features over 400 pieces of handmade artwork created during ARTconnects workshops by 150 refugee and marginalised women across 15 countries, including the UK, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.

Each piece reflects personal stories of resilience and struggle, amplifying the urgent call for climate justice. The project underscores how climate change disproportionately affects women and girls, often exacerbating violence and human rights abuses.
