Anti-lockdown protestors take to Birmingham city streets - with VIDEO
Crowds of anti-lockdown protestors gathered in Birmingham – after new restrictions were announced for the city, Sandwell and Solihull.
Large numbers of demonstrators were seen holding placards today, as they took part in an 'anti-lockdown' event in the city centre.
An earlier poster, shared on social media, advertised the protest, from midday, as a bid to "end lockdowns, end track and trace and end social distancing".
It added "Covid-19 Truth Tour 2020, We Do Not Consent".

The group could be seen with signs reading "the Covid lie", "stop the new normal", "and no more lockdown please".
Jeremy Corbyn's brother, Piers, was also seen with the crowds protesting in Birmingham – at one point seen using a megaphone.
The crowds marched through High Street, along New Street and had later moved to near the Bullring shopping centre.
It came only a day after new restrictions for Birmingham, Sandwell and Solihull were unveiled.
The rate of infection in Birmingham has increased to 75 per 100,000, while in Sandwell it has increased to 42.8 per 100,000.
The lockdown measures were announced by West Midlands Mayor Andy Street on Friday, and included a warning from the region's chief constable that anyone "calculating" a way to flout rules on gatherings risked a £10,000 fine.
