This PCSO takes his dancing partner by the hand as they waltzed their way around Wolverhampton's Mander Centre.

And the moment was captured on camera by a delighted shopper in a video which has gone viral with tens of thousands of views.

The stars of Strictly have nothing on this pair as they took to the dancefloor to the amazement of shoppers in the centre this week.

Promotions worker Chloe Blower was walking through the centre on Tuesday afternoon with a friend when they heard music playing.

They looked down to see PCSO Steve Hopley leading a dance with a woman and Chloe grabbed her phone to record to the routine.

"It was so great to see people coming together like that especially with everything which has gone on recently," said the 19-year-old from Wolverhampton who works for Cool It promotions.

"It is a great example of how caring people are. It was so nice to see the policeman to be at work and yet take time out for the public was nice."

Once the footage was posted on Facebook it soon went viral with more than 38,000 views so far - with even the PCSO himself giving it the thumbs up.

"He [Steve Hopley] sent me a message which was nice," said Chloe, of New Road.

It was the fuzz to the floor as the footage shows the PSCO dance hand-in-hand with his partner - even spinning around in unison.

When the music comes to an end he bows while his dancing partner gives a little curtsy.

They got a cheer and applause from those watching on while others took a double take as they walked past.
