Snow a perfect setting for Tettenhall College Santa Run - with PICTURES and VIDEO
The third annual Santa Run at Tettenhall College saw more than 100 festive walkers brave the snow for an authentic Christmas experience.
Raising cash for a good 'Claus' in Compton Hospice, pupils and staff from the college took part in a one mile trek around the college grounds dressed as Santa after a morning of heavy snow.
The event forms part of the college's Borders Weekend, which see's pupils take part in the Santa Dash, enjoy a Christmas lunch together and check out the new Pantomime at Wolverhampton Grand before they go there separate ways for the Christmas break.
Head David Williams said: "We have had a great attendance this year considering the bad weather this morning, I am sure that we would have had a few more parents take part if the snow hadn't been so heavy but it was perfect for the event.
"It is something we have really enjoyed putting on over the last few years but this is the first time we have had snow and it has made it all the more special.
"Hopefully we can raise some cash for Compton Hospice and I look forward to seeing how well we have done with that."
