Eleven more coronavirus deaths at hospitals in the Black Country, Birmingham and Staffordshire
A further 11 coronavirus deaths have been confirmed at hospitals in the Black Country, Birmingham and Staffordshire.
The deaths mean 2,845 people have now died with Covid-19 in the region's hospitals since the pandemic began.
At least 717 people have also died with the virus in the region's care homes.
In new data from NHS England released today, a further 118 people, who tested positive for coronavirus have died in hospitals in England, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in the country to 33,110.
Patients were aged between 43 and 102 years old. All except two – aged 62 to 72 years old – had known underlying health conditions.

Date of death ranges from October 26 to November 1. Their families have been informed.
Six patients were confirmed to have died at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Foundation Trust, and which runs Stafford County and Stoke Royal hospitals, bringing the trust’s total to 409.
A further two patients died at the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Russells Hall Hospital, where the total is now 292.
And three people died at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull hospitals, where the total rose to 1,085.
No deaths were recorded at at the Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs Sandwell General and City hospitals, where the total remains at 429.
There were no deaths at the Royal Wolverhampton Trust, which runs New Cross and Cannock Chase hospitals, where the total of deaths stands at 309.
No new deaths were confirmed at the Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, which runs Manor Hospital, where the total remains 247.
