Cannock Chase Hospital operations stopped after staff member tests positive for coronavirus
Operations at a Staffordshire hospital have been stopped after a member of staff tested positive for Covid-19.
Procedures at Cannock Chase Hospital have been suspended until September 28, a spokesman for the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust confirmed.
All patients are being contacted and they will be offered an alternative date for their appointment.

A spokesman for RWT, which runs the hospital as well as New Cross in Wolverhampton, said: "Operations at Cannock Chase Hospital have been suspended until September 28.
"This is a precautionary measure due to staff testing positive for Covid-19.
"All patients are currently in the process of being contacted and offered an alternative date.
"Our priority is the wellbeing of our staff and patients. We will continue to follow Government guidance, and have taken the precautionary steps to advise some colleagues to self-isolate."
