Greyhound Trust appeals for donations amid coronavirus outbreak
A charity which cares for retired greyhound racing dogs is appealing for donations from the public amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The Greyhound Trust, which has bases in Hagley, near Stourbridge, and Lichfield, has launched an appeal after being forced to cancel fundraising events.
Alongside providing a home for retired greyhounds, the charity also carries out kind-hearted work within the community.
The charity takes its dogs around schools and care homes and also runs dog-walking programmes.
The charity needs £4,000 a month to keep operating. At the moment it relies on volunteers to walk and care for the dogs.
