Dudley home hit by lightning catches fire
A Black Country home has suffered damage to its roof after it was struck by lightning and caught fire.

Fire crews rushed to Cardoness Place in Dudley at about 10am on Monday.
A 4×4 brigade response vehicle, three fire engines and an aerial platform were sent to the scene.
As a result of a lightning strike, a fire began and caused damage to the home.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said: "The fire resulting from the lightning strike damaged around a third of the roof and also affected the first floor.
